Armed Forces Day 2017 - Edinburgh

Soldiers at armed Forces day

Show your support for our Armed Forces at Edinburgh Armed Forces Day 2017

Legion Scotland are proud to support The City of Edinburgh Council at the Edinburgh Armed Forces Day on 24th June.

This year’s event kicks off at 11am with a parade showcasing the high profile presence of the Armed Forces and veteran community in Edinburgh. On the parade’s arrival at Edinburgh City Chambers on the Royal Mile there will be a short address from the Lord Provost and a senior military and veteran figures. All are welcome to join in with the day and enjoy the military and charity displays as well as entertainment including singer Megan Adams of Poppy Girls fame.

We hope that you can join in the Edinburgh Armed Forces Day as we show our support alongside other communities across the nation for the men and women who make up the Armed Forces community: from currently serving troops to service families and from veterans to cadets.
