Schools and learning

Legion Scotland believe that educating children and young people about the history of their community and the impact of war and remembrance is a vital part of their heritage. Our members and volunteers work with schools and young people year round as part of our remembrance activities to help make sure they are motivated and inspired to record and conserve memories for future generations.

As part of our campaign to commemorate the centenary of the start of World War I we are also launching a special competition for primary schools in Scotland.

Pupils taking part in our primary schools competition will go on a special journey to uncover real life stories of how WWI impacted Scotland. The 2016/17 competition will launch in September.
