Armistice Day Service

Legion Scotland will deliver a short service of Remembrance to commemorate Armistice Day at the Scott Monument in Princes Street Gardens East 

The Short Service will commence at 10.52am, The One O'clock Gun at Edinburgh Castle will fire a single round at 11.00am to mark the start of a National 2 Minute silence and again at 11.02am to signal the end of the silence, wreaths will then be laid by Lord Provost of the City of Edinburgh and representatives from service Charities.

All are welcome to join us prior to 10.50am ready for the service commencing.

Weather conditions will be monitored on the day, if the site is deemed unsafe for the service to continue (as was the decision in 2022) participants will be moved to New Haig House, Logie Green Road, EH7 4HQ to carry out the service.
