Shared Experiences

Shared values and outlooks are things that can commonly bond people together and this is especially true within the military community.  Those who have served in the Armed Forces have a truly unique shared experience, and upon discharge much of this sense of identity and comradery can be lost.

Legion Scotland provides the opportunity for individuals to reconnect and to be part of a new "family". As the largest ex-service membership organisation in Scotland we strive to ensure we have an armed forces community which is relevant, informed, engaged and integrated within the local community, attracting members of all ages and walks of life.

What does Legion membership mean?

What Legion membership means can vary from person to person, whether it's simply a sense of connection through virtue of joining alone or a more active involvement with local branches and clubs, the Scottish Poppy Appeal and comradeship and Remembrance events.
