We have now received the calling notice for the Kings Honours nominations for 2024.  This year we are looking to recognise those individuals who have give of their time and expertise in their service to the Legion and their Veterans community.  We would really like to be able to submit some strong nominations for this this next round of applications.

If you have someone in mind within your Branch or Area who you wish to nominate you can do so by completing the citation form provided (Download Citation Form)and can access full guidance on our process here (Download Example Citation & Guidance). You may wish to ask others within your Branch or Area to assist with completing the nomination.

Only nominations submitted in the correct format will be considered.  All nominations should be sent to Head Office as soon as possible to allow our National President time to review the applications to submit these on behalf of the organisation for the appropriate deadline.

Citations must be completed according to the guidance document and using ONLY the citation form provided, when completing the form

• The citation evidence provided within the ‘Long citation’ and ‘voluntary/charitable’ sections combined, must not exceed 3,000 characters, including spaces.
• Please don’t use block capitals when completing the ‘personal details’ sections (e.g. name, address etc).
• A fresh, blank form should be used for each nomination, not an overtype of a previous form.

We cannot accept paper copies of the form or nominations written by letter, all information must be provided electronically within the citation document.

All nominations must be submitted by 15th of March 2024 in order for the panels to submit them to the palace and MOD by the 27th March.

PLEASE NOTE THAT NOMINATIONS FOR RECEIVED AFTER CLOSING DATE WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED FOR THIS YEARS BUT IF YOU HAVE A WORTHY NOMINATION PLEASE DO SEND IT IN TO US AND IT WILL BE CONSIDERED FOR SUBMISSION IN THE NEXT YEARS NOMINATION PERIOD.
