A knitted artwork dedicated to Remembrance Day has gone on display in Chapelton, Aberdeen. Made up of more than 200 pieces across three installations, the armistice-inspired creation has taken a lot of work to produce.

The knitted poppies in the artwork were made by homeowners and staff at Landale Court – a retirement community in Aberdeenshire. As well as bringing together residents for a creative project, the art is also going to be used as a fundraiser for Poppyscotland and the Royal British Legion Scotland.
