Legion Scotland held two concerts in recent weeks – the Legion Scotland 100th Anniversary Concert at the Parish of St Cuthbert, Edinburgh, on 28 November, and our annual carol service on 12 December at the Canongate Kirk, Edinburgh.

Both events were well attended, both in person and online – where they were broadcast live on Facebook.

Legion Scotland 100th Anniversary Concert

This wonderful evening of music and reflection is one of the last centenary events for Royal British Legion Scotland, which turned 100 in 2021. It featured music from the Band of the Royal Regiment of Scotland, Legion Scotland Sweetheart Amy Hawthorn, the Edinburgh Academy Chamber Choir, Juniper 3, Dunfermline and District Pipe Band, and Jedburgh Pipe Band.

Legion Scotland Carol Service

This annual event, launched in 2019 and sadly cancelled in 2020 due to Covid restrictions, went ahead this year on 12 December at the Canongate Kirk. Led by Rev Dr Karen Campbell, the service featured nine lessons and nine carols.
